Lifegroups are small groups of people who want to experience community and authentic relationships together. A Lifegroup provides an intimate setting to get to know others, grow spiritually, and serve. It’s a place where honesty is valued and friendships are made.
They meet together regularly, either biweekly or monthly, and usually in someone’s home. But there’s no rigid structure - They can meet anywhere. Each Lifegroup has its own flavor, changing to meet the needs of the group.
Lifegroups pray together, worship together, and discuss topics relevant to their lives. They provide a non-threatening, organic environment where people can open up to connect with God and others.
Lifegroups are the core of our church. These small groups help us stay connected to each other. They are a safe place to do life together: to be real, to laugh, to cry, to discuss, to learn. It’s truly beautiful to see the walls of hurt, fear, and isolation come down when people open up with each other and get real about their lives.
We know how hectic life can be. With so many things begging for our time, it’s hard to actually find time to do what’s important. We also know that one of the most important things in life is relationships with the people closest to us. Yet so much of the important gets ignored because we never take the time. Lifegroups are about taking the time.
It’s all about connecting. Connecting with God, with each other, and with life. When we connect, we find a source of strength and encouragement when we need it most.
