Who is Jesus?
Jesus Christ can change your life! Here’s what you need to know.- The Bible says that we’re all born as sinners by nature and without a relationship with God. We have broken one or all of God’s moral laws. The default of our lives is set on hell when we die. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. (Romans 3:23 - New Living Translation)
- Jesus Christ is the God-man. Jesus Christ is literally God manifested in a human body! Because the first man, Adam, sinned and passed that sin nature down to all of us, a man must pay the legal penalty for our sin. The legal penalty is death and hell. Jesus, because He was a sinless human, took our payment for sin from God.
- When we accept Jesus’ payment for our sins, we are Born Again, that is, our human spirit is restored to fellowship with God, and our inward desires change. Humans can only reproduce human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. So don’t be surprised when I say, you must be born again. (John 3:6-7)
- Be real with God, and admit your sinfulness to Him. Ask Jesus Christ to forgive you and to cleanse you from sin. The Holy Spirit will at that moment come into you and cleanse you from the desire inside to do wrong. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. (Romans 10:9-10)
- You can experience a life change right now! You can know that your sins are forgiven, that when you die you will go to heaven and not hell, and you can have fellowship with God right this moment! Pray something like this: God, I know that I’m a sinner. I’m sorry for my sin. I believe that Jesus Christ is your Son, that He died for my sins, and was raised from the dead to make me right with you. Jesus Christ, come into my life. Forgive my sin right now. Make me a new person inside by your Holy Spirit. Help me in my life every day beginning today!
